So we decided to use my car for Taxify and my then insurer told me they don't provide cover for passenger carrying vehicles.
Unfortunately, while looking for business insurance elsewhere, we had an accident and had to claim. The claim was handled and the third party admitted fault, so insurer said they will refund my excess once recovered.
Ofcourse, once the vehicle was repaired, we continued so sign up for taxify, which meant we had to cancel the policy we had just claimed on, and get the business insurance elsewhere. So what I'd like to know is, since we cancelled the policy before the excess was completely recovered, will the previous insurer still recover and refund our excess?
