Exchange 2007

I have exchange 2003 running in the following configuration.

Standalone server running ex2003 with all mailboxes
VM running front end ex2003 for OWA/OMA/RPCoverHTTP

What I want to upgrade the front end to 2007 and need to know if it will work? I know it need an x64 OS.

Sorry, I can't really say if it will work, but I would begin by putting everything on a VM - if you have the resources! Exchange 2007 front-end is great though!

I know, I'm running SBS 2008 at home with Exchange 2007.

Why everything on a VM?
