Exchange + iPad + iPhone

Hello everyone.
Why does it happen that I have to go and "double read" meassages on either one of the above mentioned machines.
Sometimes it updates the exchange and phone but not iPad and visa versa.
Sometimes I see some new mails on my phone only to realise its ones I have already read on either iPad and exchange or exchange only.
Funny enough, my boets stuff does the same thing.
I suppose it's not really a big problem but it becomes annoying. Especially doing everything all over. Takes up cap...

Well that's odd. Exchange mail usually works flawlessly here. Are you not maybe reading those mails offline, or reading them and then going offline again?

I normally read mail at the office or home. Both places I have ADSL.
I will however take note of what you are saying.

Sounds like rather than using ActiveSync your devices may be using imap to access the server and you're getting some ghost deliveries rather than fully synced

I've been sitting now for more than a hour at the office. Mails updated on my iPad but not my phone. Unfortunately my PC is in for a motherboard change so I can't see on that. Will however check tomorrow.
