Hi guys,

My Dad (ol toppie) took out a contract with MTN today. like a business 750 or something. However, being technologically doff, he took a Nokia 2710.

I want to know if he can take it back tomorrow and take another phone. Something thats a bit more worth the contract.

Is it possible? Any advice would be awesome.

As always.

Thanks a mil!

I dont think unless there is something wrong with it or if it was sold as "misleading". Let us know what the outcome was.

Well they f#%&ing better. Otherwise we'll just cancel the damn contract all together and go somewhere else.

Seems that it most certainly is possible guys. picking up the new phone tomorrow.

I am notably impressed. I figured you'd be sure to get a fair measure of resistance, if not a flat-out refusal, to the request.

Their billing is still a disaster, though. :p

Ya so was I. Didnt even have to cause a scene. The manager was very helpful. He just had to cancel the contract and then tomorrow reload it with a new phone. Bingo!
