As the title says, just makes me sad, cause I just see things getting more difficlut, and nothing we can do about it.

Great for our international sales but I need to buy software and that is on hold.

I'm going overseas next week...

Paid for my trip 2 months ago at R11.60 to the Euro... now, I've got to get forex at R13.06 (That's before the banks commission).

That's putting 200 Euros less in my pocket on the original budget.
So glad I paid when i did.

But don't worry... everything will recover when I get back; that's just my luck. Happened when I went to the US in 2011; and it happened when I went to Europe in 2006 (Rand breached R12 to the Dollar if I remember correctly).
On all occasions, the rates started coming down again when I returned and wanted to exchange my currency back into rands.

Sorry guys... all my fault

I am luckily going to be working there for 3 weeks as from June, so yes good for me for bringing euros in but doesn't change the fact that our economy is going under.

Ages back my mother changed R4000 to Francs spent a month in France on return changed the Francs left over to R4000! Nice holiday.

Lucky I bought quite a few scripts and software lately. Hosting is prepaid for a year as well. So hopefully I am ok on that front for a while.

lol, the program I need is $7500
It can wait...
