I am having a problem with Microsoft Exchange on SBS 2003. When an email is sent to multiple recipients on our domain and one of the recipients email address does not exist, the message keeps retrying and sends multiple copies to the other recipients.
e.g. [email protected] sends a mail to [email protected] and [email protected]. [email protected] does not exist on the exchange server, but Bob recieves the email every 15 min until I create an alias on account called [email protected]
I use a pop3 connector to connect to a global mailbox. I have set the failed emails to be delivered to the administrator, but that has not helped.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.
