I take about a cup of cream, a knob of butter and heat that up in a saucepan until it comes to a boil almost, I keep stirring as to not burn and reduce it slightly. I add a handful of cheese (any kind, usually Gouda) and salt+pepper. The other day I added a teaspoon of Chiptole Tobasco sauce. I pour that over my steamed veggies (usually broccoli/cauliflower)
Also, half a cup of cream cheese, 1 cup of grated gouda, 3/4 cup of cream, a handful of nice wet and fatty biltong with salt/pepper to taste, mixed with cauliflower. Throw the mix in the oven with a little bit more cheese and a grating of nutmeg and you're good to go
