Exhaust shop

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of an exhaust shop that is willing to modify my stock exhaust on my Type R? I went to Supa Quick, they are too lame to even try and just said "O no, our welding machine won't fit in there"!! How about take it off and cut and paste?? But anyways.

Now I'm looking for someone that is willing to do it for me with no excuses, but also want a professional job done. It is the front silencer box that I want removed. So will need to be replace with +- 40cm of straight pipe.

Anyone know a reasonable guy in the Randburg, Sandton area?

Cowley Exhausts are in your area....or were when I lived in Joburg. They will tailor an exhaust for you, plus be able to work around not messing the Cat up.

Dude there is only one place to go for exhausts! POWERFLOW

They are truly brilliant! I've had 3x Exhausts done by them on different vehicles and have been very pleased each time. My father has also had two done by them...

They will also give you good advice and recommendations on what you can do...

Can't remember the name but it was off Sydney Rd in either Badger Ln. or Khuzimphi Shezi Rd (former William Rd.) I had stainless steel exhausts fitted (they cut and weld to size onsite with the car on a lift) to two cars and never ever had a problem in many years of use. Wonder if they are still around as I could not see them being profitable as they were so cheap compared to other places.

Edit: Just did a google for exhaust & william road and I found them. They are called Exhaust Discount World (EDW), 61/67 Williams Road, Durban Central, 031 306 2142

I'll phone em but not to keen on the whole RGM thing. Just need a smaal piece of stainless steel to replace my silencer box. Will do full zorst later on. Looking at getting a Miltek fitted

Have u contacted Powerflow yet? Honestly, i would really consider them if i were you...

Wanna do full Miltek if I can scrape the cash together. The best sound on gthe Type R...

I wanna cut the silencer out in the meantime to create a bit of a better sound.
