Existing Data Bundle extend through new Data Bundle?

hi,

i have bought a 2GB data bundle for my prepaid sim card in the middle of june so it expires at 1st of august. i have still a part of the data bundle left (over 1 GB!).

i have red here in this forum a little bit about the expiring date, but i haven´t find something about the following:

to offset the expiring date and extend the validity of the bundle, is it possible that i just by a 5 MB bundle now and the expiring date for the whole bundle is offset to the end of 1st of september?

what i mean: will the new 5 MB be added to the remaining data bundle and the new expiring date for the whole bundle will be 1st of september?
or do i have than two data bundles, still the one with the rest of the 2 GB which expires at 1st of august and than a second one with 5 MB which expires at 1st of september?

i would thank you a lot for any help!

That one, and if you load another bundle the data used will come off the new bundle & use that up before it starts using the 1GB on the old bundle. So the general moral of the story is dont buy another bundle until you are willing to lose what you have remaining on your current bundle

really? but thats robbery! once again the normal user who is clueless but has money to burn, gets shafted by Vodacom once again....

The Vodacom's CEO probably has a half a litre of milk left in his fridge - he buys another new 2 litre, and opens that one up first.....WTF?

Yup, that's a good example
So get a packet of cookies & drink the new milk quickly so you can get to the older milk before it goes off (which of cos means more cows getting milked for VC)


Like now for example I have around 500mb left of my 2GB i bought this month, but i wont buy another 2GB in August until i have <10MB left on this bundle, so i have to keep a sharp eye on my usage. You should be able to prioritise which bundles get used first

I found this out the hard way, luckily i only lost 3MB of data unused in my other bundle but still it was DAMN annoying to say the least, I know 3MB isn't much but it is still mine to use, which I not can't - oh well. I won't do that again.

The mere fact that we have to be worried about losing say, 30 Megabites, proves that Vodacom is SO far behind...

Vodacom Is actually worse than iBurst and Neotel people! us Vodacom users are worried about MEGS, when iBurst and Neotel users are downloading 30-60 GIGS a month.

it may be a little slower, but 3G isn't too stable either :erm:

even Gdiza that had so many problems and almost went to court over neotel, is STILL downloading more than we do...
