Get rid of the RAF, another useless money guzzler. Mandatory insurance across the board.

Edit: I know a lot of you are going to go the RAF is for medical bills, but if I look at my insurance policy there is a field there for medical expenses as well. Therefore if everyone had insurance the risk would be lowered and the RAF could fade away.

If the road laws were heavily enforced, we’d not need so much. Slap on mandatory 3rd party insurance & insurance for passengers and there would be lesser need for RAF.

While I don’t argue that RAF has not worked for some (excl. abuse), the reality is that unless every taxi driver/owner & truck driver is willing drive legally, we are actually encouraging abuse.

Harsh as it may be I think it needs to scrapped, insurance made mandatory and life sentences be handed out for illegal driving behavior for public transit and large goods vehicles. No exception..
