I've recently applied for a Junior Business Analyst role at my current company and was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge on the salary expectations for this type of role. I do not have much experience in negotiating salary, so I'm trying to arm myself with as much knowledge as possible to have a better negotiating position.
For context, the company is a growing fintech (for want of a better word) and the role is being positioned almost as an internal consultant working on cross-functional projects.
In terms of my experience. I have ~2 years experience, 1 year in the retail industry and the other year working as an intern at the aforementioned company, mostly in the operations division.
From what I could find during my research thus far, is that a salary of 25K per month is around average for this type of role. Does that sound right? Should I be expecting more? Less?
I would be really appreciative of any insight.
Thanks in advance.
