You will be working in team and will be fulfilling the following roles and responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line hardware, software, network and line of business system installation and support
- Software and hardware upgrades
- PC and peripheral repairs
- Ensuring all computers are protected by an up to date anti-virus
- Ensuring any security related task meets the standards of the organization
- Maintaining IT standards and procedures, network security and confidentiality of information
- Assisting our admin staff with IT related requisitions and purchasing activities
- Adhere to best practices at all times
- Documenting processes and procedures
- Assisting with the management of IT related assets
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
The following systems/technologies will form part of and/or be used in your daily tasks:
- Office 365 services
- Windows 8/8.1/10
- Office 2010/2013/2016
- Pastel Accounting and Payroll software
- Remote support software
- Helpdesk software
- File shares
- Xerox MFPs
- Standard network devices such as switches and routers
- VPN’s
- Remote desktop
- DHCP, DNS
