Experiments in HTML 5

I could be wrong, but WebGL is based on a lot of OpenGL - Embedded Systems. The only difference between Desktop OpenGL and OpenGL ES is that ES don't support certain types of textures (with exception to a couple of hacks).
But things like this were never possible (from a 3D perspective). WebGL could be a real game-changer if everyone stops b.itcing and start supporting it as mainstream. They predicted it would be mainstream by this year. I don't really think it will happen this year though.

I used webgl before and the added drain puts a real damper on the performance. It may be better to equip browsers with Java-like interpreters instead of using pure dom
