Explain how rain works please

I ordered a rain sim online which has not arrived as yet. I took the R250 option.

What I'd like to know is how does the billing system work? To my knowledge its a month to month deal.

For example my sim arrives, am I now on prepaid and have to activate the R250 option?

What if I only want to use the R250 for this month or every odd month how does that work?

You will automatically be on R250 and you can set a spend limit off 0 GB in peak. If you want to stop using it for a month, then you will need to log into your rain dashboard and switch off UOP (unlimited offpeak). This will take effect at month end. For the next month you will be on PAYU with a limit of 0 GB. Whenever you want to switch back up to UOP, log onto the dashboard and the upgrade will be immediate.
