Got a new Explora 3, plus Smart LNB (LMX501) to replace existing setup with a single view DSD 1132 decoder
Explora setup and working, linked via Unicable - all good!
I asked DSTV/MC to link DSD 1332 unit in extra view mode.
This is currently connected to the SNLB Universal output (since if I connect it to a Unicable output it doesn't seem to be able to find a signal despite various online descriptions saying it should work with either)
The unit scans ok, but tells me there is a connection error for Xtra View i.e. cannot see the Explora
So what's missing? What am I doing wrong? (Or have not done yet!)
Some online diagrams indicate I may require a diplexer connected to the DSD 1132 to provide some form of heartbeat? (i.e. cable in from dish, then diplexer plus cable to signal input and cable to RF in/out)
I admit I am clueless on this so decided to ask before wasting more time experimenting - guidance appreciated!
