Hi there,

this might seem like a noob question, but anyway...

I recently obtained a DSTV Explora. I am currently on the premium package and feel its quite a lot of bullSh@t for R699p/m... repeats all over the show and nothing worth watching, 90% of the time. my question is, if i want to downgrade to, say the DSTV Compact package, will i still be able to pause, rewind, record etc. on the Explora?

Hi

Yes you can as long as you pay the extra R80 PVR fee cost. What I have also heard is that you can subscribe for a month record shows but still have access to them when downgrading. But I have not done that.
