Old news to be honest, even businesses have been complaining about them for a long time now. Just read this old Reddit post:

Neither is this the first YouTube video on them. Honey as an affiliate hijacks your affiliate platform, promoted by influencers and media.

Just for extra mention, there are other affiliate programs I would wish to point a finger to...

Turns out Honey has been replacing/overriding affiliate links.

A YouTuber has been investing Honey for a while, and some of its results are less than ideal. Apparently, it overrides any affiliate links on the checkout page, effectively denying the creator that got you there their commission.

It's pure karma.

Scumbag influencers promoting things they don't understand. These things bite them in the a$$. They also bite the end users who watch these people and listen to their advice.

Essentially clueless people promoting things based on pay.

Influencers are a plague.

This is so hilarious.

Yet people will continue to support these tech review channels and worship these people as gods.

Now we even have people like Mutahar shrieking about how bad this is. And nobody could have predicted this? Even the great Linus Tech Tips knew about this some time ago after they were tipped off by end users, and they told no-one. LOL.

Don't trust influencers. These people are clueless. They are so clueless they even promote things which harm their own revenue. :)

Twats have no clue what they are talking about.
It's everywhere.
Idiots of today have 3 brain cells.

Jip, promotes the thing, someone else expose what Honey does, suddenly markass brownlee is an expit about it and "would have not worked with them"

Nah, it's the speeding through a school zone kind of thing. That this trash is still an authority for so many here is bewildering.
