Mmmm ... maybe this is a dumb question ... maybe it was covered before ... who cares ... can someone please explain why iBurst stop selling express modems for laptops? I bought a newer laptop that only has an express port ... and I hate wires, so no way im gonna get a usb and carry it all around ... so why on earth did they discontinue the express laptop modem?
iBurst is supposed to = WIRELESS? YES?/NO? Then why force USB or DESKTOP on us?

It's more a function of the whole industry moving away from Express slots. So the modems are not being manufactured anymore.

Make contact with Shaun Green and let's see if we can swop it out for you.

They still advertise their Express modem on their site...

Maybe they wanna sell their new USB prepaid modem, it connects directly to your USB port, no wires required.

Thank you for the supa quick reply, it certainly is much appreciated!
I am pretty sure iBurst will only get better with someone like you in charge!

Hi guys.

We still supply Express type modems. If you were supplied a USB we can exchange it for you. Would you like to come in?

Thanks

Suppose this doesnt apply if your on a contract for a few months already and actually wanted the express modem but got the USB modem?

Is there a performance difference?

Thanks

We can probably swap it for you. Chat to Shaun. No performance difference.

Personally, I'd stay with USB to be as independent as possible where I plug it in but if you've got this urge to stick something in your slot, I'm sure we can help. ;)
