Extend GSM Aerial

I need to install an external high gain GSM aerial for a Cell C Speed stick

I understand that the longer the aerial cable, the more loss is experienced.

If the aerial cable needs to be 15m, what is better:
* run a 15m aerial cable to the computer?
* connect the speed stick as close as possible to the aerial and run a 15m USB cable to the computer?

Extend the aerial cable rather than the USB one (don't know where you'll find a 15 m USB cable). The aerial's one is shielded and the difference isn't as enormous as you might think.
