I have upgraded to Rain 5G.
Installed the 5G Outdoor CPE N5368X router with IP 192.168.8.1
I still have 2 x Huawei B618 routers that I want to use as Access Points.

The one B618 in the TV room, cable connected, works fine with the IP changed to 192.168.8.2 and DHCP disabled.
The AC1200 in the passage, wireless connected, works fine WPS connected to the B618 access point in the TV room.
The other B618 in the bed room, cable connected, does not want to work after setting IP to 192.168.8.3 and disabling the DHCP.
I have tried various setups but can not get it running.
Is there something I am missing?
Please assist.
I have attached a picture of the setup.

Thank you

Thanks for the advice. Can you elaborate a bit more please... on the connections and settings?
With your current setup and config of each router, You have two options:

LAN-WAN Creates a second network inside of the main network, you cannot share files between internally connected devices unless using a VPN setup.
Check what DHCP range the CPE N5368X grants you
if for example *.*.8.4-49
then;
Router0 == CPE N5368X
Router1 == 192.168.8.2
Router2 == 192.168.8.3
Make sure subnets match

LAN-LAN Connection between router1 and router 2 extends your WiFi range to include the second router. This is a good setup when wanting to share files between the internal connected devices
Router 1 == 192.168.9.1
Router 2 == 192.168.10.1

Notes:
1. Disable UPnP on Router1 and Router2
2. If connecting via WiFi on either routers check that each one operates on a different Channel, i.e Router1 Channel 1-6 and Router2 Channel 11 etc.
3. Enable Bridge or Repeater modes on Router1 and Router2
4. Trial and error and good luck!

And we waiting on his reply to see if it works

OK SUCCESS!!! :)

Thank you newklear! :thumbsup:

This is what happened:
Changed cable from CPE N5368X to WAN port on Router 1
Rebooted Router 1 & Router 2
Router 1 was automatically up and running with great speeds (auto assigned IP 192.168.9.1 DHCP still active WLAN channel: Auto)
Access point in passage was automatically up and running with wifi connection from Router 1
Router 2 changed IP to 192.168.10.1 and disabled DHCP and changed WLAN channel to 11
Picture attached to illustrate.

My speeds are a bit strange: :unsure:
Roof
Router 0 CPE N5368X: D=52mbps, U=40mbps
Router 0 CPE 5G N5368X: D=252mbps, U=40mbps

TV Room (10m cable from Router 0)
Router 1 B618: D=50mbps, U=35mbps
Router 1 B618 5G: D=137mbps, U=39mbps

Passage (wifi+-15m from Router 1)
Access Point AC1200: D=27mbps, U=30mbps
Access Point AC1200 5G: D=89mbps, U=31mbps

Bedroom (50m cable from Router 1)
Router 2 B618: D=21mbps, U=36mbps
Router 2 B618 5G: D=26mbps, U=39mbps

Why does the speed drop so much from Router 1 to Router 2?
I would love to get some of the higher speeds on Router 2....

Thanks again

Well done and glad to hear, now you just need to tweak for speeds. Of course you will have impedance/resistance on the cable (Approximately; 8 Ohms/50m), but yes that is quite a bit of drop in speeds between the two routers.

What I would do though is, perhaps swop Router1 with Router2 (sorry will have to swop configs there) to keep the pecking order inline and investigate the cable type used. A lot of the time, it's a bit of heuristics/trial and error.
