Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but here it is.
I am trying to get a better range out of my router
"http://www.d-link.co.za/DSL-2640U.php"
and went off and bought a bigger antenna for it.. only to find out that when i got home the router has a fixed antenna built in... Stoopid machine.. so if i wanna extend the range/power of my wireless signal from that router, is there a way to do it without buying a new router, or is a new router going to be the best option?
Main reason why i want to extend the range is for my PS3 which is in my lounge and the router is in my office, only about 15m or so away, but its has a few walls to travel though and i often only get about 30% signal strength on my ps3
