External Antenna for Hauwei WiFi e5331

I have unreliable 3G signal. Some days good and others not so good. I think I could probably rectify this with an external antenna for my 3G router.

Does such a thing exist thats compatible with the supplied Afrihost 3G Router?

I have the same issue and escalated this to Afrihost/MTN, over a month now with still no response.

I think I can fix this myself if i could add a better antenna to the device. I was wondering if there was such an adapter of sorts.

So would one just lay the MiFi router on the pad that is connected to the antennae?

If I am not mistaken it fits over the device like a glove.
