This is my situation I can currently program in c# and every now and then a have a bit of time at my work to program something for myself.
So I downloaded XNA so that I can program a few games for fun but my work laptop does not have a graphic card play to execute the code.

I don't wanna mess with the hard ware of the laptop because its my works and I don't know how long I will be working there. So is there an external graphics card that I can buy don't need anything fancy or is there a external chaise or something in which I can put my old graphics card into?

Is there any thing els you guys can recommend?

thanks

A chaise you say? Well, I did a quick google and found this which may do the job. It doesn't seem too comfortable, but such is life.

In any case, regarding a graphics card for your laptop. I seem to recall a solution existing which had a PCIe 1x or similar speed slot connected to a PCMCIA slot. Driver support was a pain, it worked on only a select number of laptops and performance, although acceptable for basic games and such, wasn't great.
Sony also do an external graphics card on one of their top end laptops, but to be fair, you could probably buy a couple of rather nice desktops for that thing's price.

I'm afraid you're screwed.
