Hey guys.
Ive got a Vantec Nexstar 3.5" SATA external HDD enclosure that behaves very weird.
For some reason the USB doesnt work. At first I thought the whole thing blew up, but turns out it works fine with e-SATA (have tested it)
Although my PC has e-SATA, 99% of people I know only have USB. So Im stuck with an external, that is useless, I NEED USB.
I took the external apart today, In the uploaded pics you will see the little motherboard. i hope this will give you guys a better idea of what im dealing with

Now I cant see any butn marks ANYwhere, and how can just the USB bomb out?
Its not under warranty anymore, so I am looking for ANY tips to try and fix the USB.
Its not the cable, checked that. What can be the problem, and am I wasting my time?
Thanks!
