External PCI to Usb card?

Ok i am moving out and will only have my laptop.
Now one thing i will miss about my parents desktop is the Tv/Radio PCI card i bought for R900 a few years back.
I record alot of radio and tv sometimes but that is gonna come to a stop i guess

There is no possible way of having an external card type reader that can convert PCI to Usb? im sure its not possible because the PCI card runs in a specific way and cannot just be converted to USB .There is nothing out there to get around this is there ...

Not to USB.

You do however have the option of a Cardbus to PCI adapter. It will be expensive and probably not worth it. Best would be to simply buy another receiver that plugs into the USB port and leave the existing card in the PC.
