Extra bandwith

HI guys,just got do broadband 3 a month ago, I want to know if i use my cap is there a way i can buy extra gig from telkom?
 
Get a prepaid account from Axxess or WebAfrica.
Or purchase a voucher from ENGEN or Pick n' Pay for those last few day blues.
 
How much have you used so far? Those 3gb telkom accounts are usually good for about 6gb.

Otherwise you can buy extra bandwidth in the form of Pay As You Go from various places - I use Axxess and WebAfrica these days.

The vouchers referred to are Axxess accounts available from most engin stations and some Pick and Pays. http://www.axxess.co.za/vouchers.php
 
I use it for online gaming with my ps3, have used 6.02 gig and now capped....I did not realise it would allow me to get that much a month it is awesome,will be more carefull in the coming months.

Yeah - that little extra something-something that I get from telkom is the only reason I can come up with for using their service.
 
Just buy a Prepaid voucher that will last till the end of the month.
 
Obviously....my first month online with adsl, went a little mad not saying it will happen every month......Just wanted to know what my options were for extra bandwidth.....

Just another question should i get prepaid shaped or unshaped,on these vouchers or whatever other option i go for, as stated before used mainly for online gaming and downloading demos from the psn store.:D:D:D
 
For gaming unshaped will probably be better.

btw, you don't have to buy the physical vouchers from engen you can just buy it online :)
 
Sorry for being ignorant, but can you tell me how to by online please sounds a lot cheaper
 
Easy to buy an extra account from Telkom.

Go to http://online.telkomsa.net/external/

and choose your account.

I just phone 10215 and ask for a 2Gig account(actually they cap you @ 4gig) and when Im finished r@ping the account I call the same number to cancel it.

Just remember to cancell before or on the last day of the month before 16:00 otherwise you will be billed again for the same account.

Not, RAS, just trying to offer affordable broadband, can't offer better prices since my cost is so high.

@zorko, you can have a free 1GB Local-Only account (SAIX), you can browse local sites & use the ftp sites for downloading iso's, or whatever.

ps* no strings attached, the account will expire at the end of the month, pm me if you are interested,
