Extra gig on DoBroadband

Does anyone know the price of purchasing an extra gig when getting DoBroadband? Can you just get that extra gig from another ISP?

Yeah like from WebAfrica you can get a gig for 70 bucks.

Woohoo! Thanks, that means I save R10 by getting DoBroadband Closer option 2 and an extra gig with WebAfrica.

Currently pay... R499 (Telkom Closer opt 4) + R199 (3 gig WebAfrica) = R698

Could pay... R618 (Do closer 2) + R70 (extra gig WebAfrica) = R688

I think I'd rather pay the extra R10 than see Telkom get more of my money.

I get the feeling that you still can't buy 1GB retail from TI. You would have to go elsewhere or buy 2GB.
I would be interested to know where TI are capping that 1GB, is at 1 or 2 GB?

Except of course for that R10 saving you are getting a softcap which, if the telkom reps on here are to believed, will give you an extra 2GB.
