They(brothers) switched it on and came to sit on the back steps to watch the show , and they got one naturally

I didn’t even need someone else.

I once extended the lead on a lamp…without plugging it out.

Needless to say you only do it once.

have done live light changes once ie could not switch off the power ie could not interrupt feed

if you use the logic of not being the one that completes the circuit you should be ok

but in the dark (light change)

i thought i made proper contact before commencing to turn the wire
i did not , so yea like you said don't need help, got that jolt all by myself

Oh yeah I'm sure if you planned to work on a live wire that changes the entire game.

Yea it was a one off event

The appointment could not be moved and there was a another happening in the other room that could not proceed without power

Lately i am so anal i keep going to check that **** is off

Pretty sure all of us has many many stories of accidental jolts

hence why i have become anal about the off double checking

My mind has such a vivid picture already thanks to being to inquisitive as a kid

That just the thought of electricity elicits a jolt in my mind
