So my Aunt gave me her old screen:

Ferrari_F19_normal.jpg

I have it hooked up to my computer at the moment, and my itunes is displayed on there...

Who has two monitors and what do you do with them?

Browser on one for work and referencing; IMs, IDE etc on the other.

2x 22" (2ms)
Gaming and TV on one (or movies, series, etc) and work/web surfing on the other (email, VPN, spreadsheets, reports, etc).

2 x 23" SAMSUNG 2333 :) WoW on one and VENT, RAID Info etc, ect on the other! Or if I'm really bored, 2 x Solitaire instances :)

I am running 3, in normal mode I run the middle screen as my main screen with the taskbar, other 2 screens have either mail, dev work, downloads etc.

Gaming I run eyefinity on all 3 screens. Simply epic. :)

I am running a 42" as my primary display, and a 22" on the left which has Gadgets (CPU/RAM Meter, and HDD Meters) also DU Meter, and Free Download Manager. This way I can do whatever I want yet still monitor my Resources, Hard Drive Space, and Downloads.

If I'm doing 3D Modeling then I use the 22" to display reference art.

I use 1 x 23" and 1x 19". I use 23" for gaming and other one for temp monitor, checking my utorrent downloads. I wish I could move my mouse over without having to alt-tab out of a game.

3 x 23"
I do a lot of programming... So programming on one, browsing on one and my planning on the other. (Browsing on the center screen of course)

Have 3 23's atm....

Browsing on one, email on the other and sql on the other...
Gonna try get me a decent ATI card soon so I can run games in eyefinity... then I'll be happy...

one 19 inch front, one 23inch left of me, one 23inch right of me

Left 23inch is for monitoring vehicles, Middle is for writing reports, Right is for monitoring CCTV cameras.

I must say I would have preferred having a CRT monitor for the purpose of watching people on CCTV. LCD don't cut it so well

Say I am playing a game, the game is displayed on one monitor and the other one is just displaying my desktop background, does this negatively impact the game's performance?

Even if it does, it will be minimal as the game is using the resources it needs to perform and displaying a Windows desktop is minimal power draw - this is why with some faulty graphics cards, they can display a Windows desktop but as soon as you try benchmark 3D performance, it crashes immediately.

Same, 17" CRT on the left for browsing / Vent/TS/whatnot , 32" LCD TV in the middle for xbox/tv/ps3/PC gaming/movies/whatnot.

Not always no - depending on if you run the game windowed or fullscreen mode. MMO's I run in windowed mode so I can move my mouse between the game and the left screen without issue. FPS's I have to tab out.
