Extremely slow international

Internet is useless tonight so I'm off to go watch Prince Of Persia - at least I was able to buy my ticket online (for a moment the bandwidth felt like being back on Neotel again)

Even us on Telkom ADSL have bad bandwidth dayz

International is not even slow, it's not working at all.
Local is however slow!

Both local and international are back to normal, switched over to Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

So what's the story then? Is Neotel up to cuck or is Seacom having issues? I can't surf any international...:wtf:

Up and down, up and down, slow and fast. Neotel is like a rollercoaster ride, except not fun. Oh how I wish I could have ADSL installed where I live: but Neotel, rest assured, I might yet drop you for MTN.

Can't access gmail and other international sites :(

Also can't access FNB online banking

Oh and regarding speed..................up to sh%t, local and international. Speedtest is great tonight
Last Result:
Download Speed: 765 kbps (95.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 75 kbps (9.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

I guess I am the only one online with all the access related issues tonight.............:D

Same..can't login to anything, from Yahoo, Hotmail, FB etc.

So over all this crap

Guys

Welcome to the world cup

I have a feeling we will be having really crappy international and local connectivity while this event is on
I work for a news agency and we are covering the world cup
According to fifa all news agencys have to have 100 mb/s between the stadiums and 20mb/s international internet access this is per news agency not shared between all of them
This has been garenteed by Telkom

Also another interesting thing is that they will be broadcasting live TV via Fibre instead of the usual satalite method I stand corrected but I think its the first time they have covered the work cup like this.
The tech Teams from the news agencys are busy building all the infrastructure and testing connectivity so from now till the world cup is over expect crap ADSl and general broadband

Cheers

Last might my torrents were dead but I could surf international sites. This sucks because I only have until the 13th of June to rape my Prime Connection, then it's bye-bye Neotel.
