Eye test and glasses

Anyone know of any place in Joburg that has specials on eye glasses. i'm due for a test soon and would like to see if there are any specials about.
 
I normally use specsavers, so far prices much better than the other places i have used...
 
Specsavers is probably cheapest. Also see they been advertising some specials on tv.
 
Can't bloody believe they don't have one in Sandton

If you guys state that Specsavers are cheap, then you guys are really being ripped a nasty hole by the other optoms. Here in the Cape, Specsavers are more expensive than even your boutique optmos. Just had two sets of glasses done in the last 24 mths and Specsavers where pricey on all the quotes.

Also be very careful of their shoddy workmanship on their lenses. I've got two friends who went the Specsavers route (one actually worked for an optom and got two sets, one for him & for his son) and all the glasses UV coating started to come off.
