EZVIZ C3A + solar

So I put it in ultimate battery eating mode at 5.30am... Turn ON the alarm notifications and switched OFF hibernate.

I've dropped from 100 to 93 already! Will be interesting to see the continued drop before the sun hits the solar...

Indeed. Please report back.

Hi recently bought 1 x C3A camera unit and solar panel which I am testing at our current house before getting more units at our new house. Finding the lack of a monitor TV a big negative for these units which we are very used to with our hardwired system. Nice viewing that nobody is doing anything untoward in your immediate driveway space. Multi camera view also lacking but (possible using EZVIZ studio on a PC only but you can cast it to a TV)it continues working perfectly in loadshedding with a router already on a mini UPS. Switching off hibernation mode replicates a hard wired camera quite nicely but uses 10% plus battery live in an hour plus so not sustainable at night. Anyone running these units on the AC powered adaptor with a usb cable? My thinking is to add another mini dc ups of 8000mah in a weather proof box to enable at least a camera running permanently at the main driveway gate and perhaps pool area. I am hoping the usb cable connection can supply enough power to the camera to rarely needing to use its internal battery. 8000mah from the Mini UPS should last at least a long loadshedding before it needs to use its own battery power.
