Ezviz Camera's & cloud recording

Has anyone managed to get cloud recording working with Ezviz?
I see its not officially supported in SA, does anyone have a work around?

I see Ezviz updated their app. Finally you can switch all the cameras on/off with one button without needing a hub :)
 
indeed, the new app UI is a massive improvement.. I like the zoom out/in on the recording timeline

I haven't played around. Saw it when I went to bed last night.

I need to get hold of another camera. I have the "Owl" in doors (C1C) which works great. Anybody know where you can get a 1080p version during lockdown? Think I saw a C6CN for sale, no idea how good it is compared to the C1C (night vision, wide angle).
 
Zooming in on the timeline was always there, they just made it more user friendly now.

I wonder if they're planning to bring back the ability to speed up the playback when viewing over the WAN.

Funny enough I saw a bunch of Ezviz cameras at Builders Warehouse. Was tempted to grab another C3 Outdoor for R1.5K.
Will be a hit and miss I guess for the one you're looking for, but worth maybe checking it out, the Builders in Northgate did have some webcam ones though, but 720P from what I can remember.

I'd love to have that C3A with the solar panel, would make life 10x easier if I could just pop it on without worrying about power... but that price! Eina enina jisses.
 
I seem to suddenly have a Cloudplay option in the app. It's also offering a 30 day free trial.
 
hi guys have recently set up the ezviz wireless model cs-w2d with 3 cameras for a friend. This was my first time setting up ezviz.
Is it possible to extend the wireless connection of the cameras, since they want one of the cameras outside the house? Will a wireless repeater like a unifi work?

Just wanted to share something in case anyone else encounters this.

I have the ezWireless NVR (X5C) which came with 4 Husky Air cameras. All 4 work perfectly.

I recently bought one new C3X (Dark Fighter AI Camera), linked it to the NVR (connected to the NVRs WiFi) but unfortunately that camera lags like crazy when watching via the NVR. It's recordings are terrible too. It gets stuck if there is any movement.

So if you're considering this camera and want to link it to the NVR, it's not going to work well.

It only works if you watch directly via the app and you will need to add an sd card directly for recordings.

I reported the issue to ezviz as well. I think the NVR most likely needs a software update to make it more compatible.

Maybe someone had similar issue and can assist.

have a c3x running on ezviz app and on samsung a50 phone, notifications take about 5min when phone is in sleep mode.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I also got the C3X not impressed. Also have the plain Color one to not impressed.
Human detection on C3X only up to 10m. Poor piss performance. If I select last setting then it pick up everything even neighbour in his lounge. Even if you highlight camera not to do.

Plain color one picks up detection 1.5m from camera. Not what I intended to use for.

Normal views on camera ok, not for security.

No cloud recording only on SD card
 
Hi guys sorry for reviving the thread but I need some advice. The push button broke on the C3W now I cannot sync it. Where can I take it for repairs in Cape Town?
