Nah. Vettel, Button then Schumi. Vettel and Button are good in the wet.

Ps: Vettel to seal the title this weekend!

Perhaps but it gives the slower peeps a chance although shummi is in a slower car :D. Yea the weather report is not good though, not sure how well the track will dry out without any sun to burn it off.

vettel can wrap it up this weekend, it's pretty much a done deal. Whether it's this race or the last race. Now we just watch to see the how the mclaren rookie and button can do for the rest of the season.
Hopefully we can see some close races with many talking points usual :D
Cannot wait for it.
 
Qualifying is going to be a nail biter if P3 is anything to go by. :D Vettel on Pole followed by Button Alonso, Hamilton Webber

Well you can look at it as a snooze or you can just marvel at the pure genius of vettel.

half second quicker than webber :eek:. So there are 5 races left he needs 4 poles to break the record, i wonder what odds you would get on him doing it. Could be an interesting bet :D.

I'm with Killa, Vettel is making this season happen for him. Sure the car plays a role but he just keeps putting in the work and laps when its needed. I suspect 2012 will be much the same as this year. Hardly and significant rule changes.

LOL the rookie does it again. He tries hard to get passed massa and gets slowed by alonso, why did he think massa was going so slow? Surely he should have slowed down and given himself some room, instead he flies passed massa like some rookie and loses time behind alonso :D.

Vettel thinks hmmmm no i won't get stuck behind a train of cars and waits. Guess who landed on pole.

Shame poor oak, now he's threatening McLaren again with finding another team if they don't give a competitive car :O Seems he doesn't want to settle for anything less than a Red-Bull

linky Second best car on the grid and 5th in the driver championship and complaining about the car :/. TBH this is really getting old. He needs to get his head clean and start focusing on improving his decision making. The rest is there to win titles... Actually starting to feel for the oak

Strange, he seems to think he has a championship winning car in other interviews IIRC.

Where would he go anyway? It's either Red Bull or McLaren.. and who knows whether Red Bull will stay on top next year and the year after.

I don't know, he gave up on the championship then a week later he said it was still on. His best chance of winning another WDC in the next few years is staying with McLaren. Ferrari wont touch him neither would Red-Bull since they both have clear nr 1's and 2's. So he would most likely end up in a mid field team. Which might just do him good. However I don't think he has what it takes to build a winning team around him.

You see the trouble is starting out life in the best car, you will become a little cry baby when things don't go your way. He could have had second or perhaps even challenged for pole today if he put a bit of thought into the massa incident and yes he got unlucky with puncture and refueling error but many races this season have been lost because of poor driving by him or bad mistakes by the team. You win as a team and lose as a team. I don't feel sorry for him at all, button always finds a positive and hamilton seems to be going out of his way to find the negatives.

How can he blame mclaren for his season? I think mclaren should warn hamilton that they won't accept him driving like a first year rookie for much longer. The whole season though he has had his head down and moaned more than made the best of the situation. He has had a winning car this season but rookie driving is the reason he is no longer in the hunt for the championship. Sure vettel has had the best one lap car but on race day mclaren have been right there and i think the car has not been the best but vettel makes it the best. Look at alonso, last year Ferrari was not the best but he almost won the championship, this year ferrari are fairly poor and he just drives, he doesn't moan about it and threaten to leave.

Button is such a cool calm customer, i read an interview with him blaming mistakes for his season and not the car. Whether it was not putting his tyre on right or bad decisions in the team, he said we have had a good car this season but too many mistakes. Button knows what is it like to struggle though.

If it wasn't for Vettel, I reckon he'd be leading the championship by far now.

Button's biggest issue is his inability to qualify well, he is slow for some reason in quali which messes up his race for the most part and without some bad luck he could still be in the hunt. He needs to be more aggressive in qualifying, i find he seems to hold back for some reason. It could though his car cannot actually get up to speed over one lap and vettel somehow can.

Vettel gives it everything in qualifying and so does hamilton but hamilton cannot often hook it up for the whole lap, he will make an error where as vettel is perfection personified in quali :D.
