F1 2011 thread

Well i don't think either should have got one. Hamilton took a chance knowing what could happen. Massa will say he never saw him but i suspect massa did and was prepared to have an accident rather than let the ham through so perhaps a penalty was the right call

Hamilton though needs to come right, that was not a good corner to pass and could always end in tears. A little more patience from hamilton will see him back to his best next season.
 
This was probably the worst race so far. Only real action was the first lap and Massa/Hamilton incident. Either way Gratz to all. Schumacher really getting into the F1 vibe again. Looking forward to see what he can do in a competitive car :D

That sim looks pretty cool but I've driven Vito's 'round Kyalami that don't lean as much through the turns.

Back to production values... They seemed to fall apart in the studio with the toy there, like no one knew how to go from plugging the sim to presenting the race. Oh, and Gary really should stick to his Ford... I know 12 year olds who are better with race simulators than he is. You'd have a better idea of what the Buddh circuit is like by using Google maps rather than watching his "lap"... And by "lap", I mean shots of his head bobbing around in the sim because they couldn't show the actual screens, no doubt 'cos he was in the virtual dirt. So much of fail but, for me at least, it was even funnier than Rowan Atkinson's reaction to the Massa/Hamilton incident.
 
Well I would imagine all of us would struggle with a f1 sim. You would to use it for 8 hours a day for a month perhaps to get used to it.

The reason it tips like that is to simulate the geforces but watching garys head was a bit idiotic.

Thing is, most people "drive" a sim like it's a game 'cos, well it really is a game... Take the risk of physical injury out of the equation and break markers suddenly become optional. IIRC in the sims used by the teams there is no lean... I guess it's to keep the visual reference for the drivers as close to the real thing as possible.
 
The difference is that is it a sim, not some arcade game like f1 2011 :D.

Much harder when you actually have to do everything.

He should call hamilton a twat, hamilton should call him an idiot and there should be a bust up. WTF is going with f1 these days?

I don't care who wins i just hope the greatest talent in f1 since senna and shummi will nail the pole record.

Hamilton needs to leave mclaren, was reading witmarshes comments and hamilton reply and things don't seem so rosy.

I like vettel but I would love to see both in the same car. Not much between them but who knows. First quali I have missed. Vettel got the record right? Regardless of how good a car is to do so well race after race takes a special driver

Vettel broke my heart. on my multiple bet of six legs if Hamilton had qualified ahead of vettel i would be 650 rands richer.
 
Loool, yeah the red-bull was out and out the dominant car for the practice and qualifying sessions :P That's why they were on top and Webber is second on the grid, O wait....
 
Bad luck had to come to Vettel at some time....oh well he's had good fortune up to now!!
