I'm pleasantly surprised by Merc so far tbh..
I thought they'd be competitive... but 1,2 in quali 2.... thats not bad at all..
Ferrari, well, they've never really been right for the last few years (from my memory)....
It looks like Renault have got a beaut of an engine this year though which I'm very happy for since so many teams are running them.

In unrelated news, this was the most exciting qualifying I have seen in years. It is great to see Mercedes back up there again.

Hopefully Grosjean can carry that pace into the race.
Ferrari are in serious trouble. I read somewhere that the pull rod suspension that they are using is very tricky to get setup. If they get it right the car will be quick. It seems as if getting to a good setup with pull rod suspension is far more difficult than push rods.
I wonder if Alonso, while "swinging his handbag", was thinking about his decision to leave McLaren for Ferrari?

Going to be an interesting season. What happened to the Bulls? Wonder if people are going to stop watching F1 when the McLaren's dominate
My Magic 8-Ball says we won't see one team dominate this year. Merc, McMerc, the Bulls and Lotus will be fighting for the victories. Ferrari will implode, a lot of people will get fired & Alonso will be looking to hang his handbag in another team's camper van next year.
