But should we then not appreciate the pure brilliance of Verstappen. Where he could come from 9th and beat his teammate easily that drives the same car as him and started 1st?
You cant tell Max to drive slower? Or should we add cement blocks to his car because he is too good?
Remember Checo was not 2nd in championship in any of the previous seasons.
I agree Max was in a class of his own, I was kind of hoping Checo was keeping some tyre life for a battle at the end, but it was not to be.
Agree
Bring back refueling

I remember this, Schumacher cool as a cucumber calmly sat in the car until the fire was out, then went off to win the race.

Why no one is listening to Karun is beyond me

"Another race that underlines my crusade since 2016 that we need a single line added to the sporting rules to say: “All 3 tyre compounds must be used during a race that’s not declared wet at any stage”.
The cream will always rise, but it would be more exciting to watch! #F12023"

Never heard of this but it sounds great.

I would take that to qualifying. All 3 tire choices should be used during qualifying. One compound per q1, one for q2 and one for q3.
Every team should hand in an envelope 30 min before qualifying saying what tire they will use for what qualifying session and you may not change.
Nobody would know who goes on what tire when. And you would have fast teams taking gamble with hard and medium tires in q1 and 2 against softs of slower teams

As can be seen - doesnt matter where you qualify if you have a push to rocket past button.

My idea was that DRS be x minutes per race. Driver can use as necessary.
Trouble is it's all artificial. Just like the pitwall scalextric... Driver needs to get given the best car and drive it to the max of what he feels it's capable of. If it breaks, that's on him.

Please NO, NO NO !
All we will hear is Toto: "Did you get my email?"
;)

I'm sure that's been planned for already, I saw a report recently that F1 were planning to make it hards for q1, mediums for q2 and softs for q3.

Keeping DRS but time limited and usable wherever would add a level of variability of strategy whether overtaking or final or first lap etc

That is for the sprint shootout

I think the sprint shootout weekends will continue to change so that the FIA can test little things to see whether something makes sense or not.

Forcing to change tires every stint was interesting, but as long as guys like Ferrari can't figure out why their car has so much tire deg, they won't be able to compete. Redbull and Aston seems to be on top of tire management, so they again will have an advantage which will leave other teams behind and we have the same problem all over again.

I personally think they should stop making so many regulation changes year or year and let teams catch up and try to get on an equal footing.

There are very few regulation changes year on year. The regulations change once in 5-10 years, with the 2022 changes being of the larger changes in many years.

Doesn't really work in practice. There is always one team that tends to nail reg changes, especially in recent years as we have seen with Merc in 2014 and Red Bull in 2022/2023. And as we saw with Merc, once they have that advantage and you leave the regs in place for a while, they never lose it.

Yip and it always seems to be a 4-6 year stretch ala Ferrari 2000-2004 Redbull 2010-2013 Merc 2014-2020. Once a team nails it, it seems other teams take a few years to catch up or just cant and wait for the next big change to come.
