1. Max has sewn up the Drivers Championship. He's going to have to crash out repeatedly now. Or do a Schumacher and break both legs in some accident.
2. Checo had a recovery drive of note! Fantastic to see.
3. Ferrari has an almost half-decent car now. Except for Sainz who will be crying into his pillow over being intimidated (almost like he didn't think Checo should be overtaking him).
4. Stroll is utterly useless. Pity he won't be fired. He's costing AMR lots of lost points.
5. I think Toto is over Hamilton's sh&t now judging by how he reacted to the whining on the radio (Lewis, we know the car is bad...just drive it!)

Certainly VERY useful w.r.t. current contract negotiations.....

Good race. All the action further down mid-field. No surprise on the RB Rocket. Lovely to see Mclaren in the mix and well done to Ferrari for a decent performance - hopefully more to come.

Like Lando was whining about Lewis in the first few laps?
He mentioned it a few times but didn't drag it on the whole race. Unlike Mr "because I got a penalty, what about this guy, what about this guy, what about this guy".

It was so bad that Sky actually played a compilation of his whining after the race. It was so bad that even his team boss and staunchest defender told him to just shut up and get on with it...

...twice...!!!

First time: Just carry on Lewis, all the cars in front of you are likely to get track limit warnings and penalties.

Second time: We know the car is bad Lewis, just drive it. (If this wasn't the please STFU comment of the day I don't know what will be).

He's proving that when he's in front he's a fantastic driver...when he's in the middle of the pack he cannot compete except to lead the Whinge Sheet!

So I did hear correctly. What a statement to make. I mean… it’s exactly what racing is. Perez wasn’t going to ask nicely for him to move.

Joylon Palmer did attempt to explain what Sainz may have been on about, something about the racing line and driving too close, but I didn't follow.

I reckon something got "lost in translation" for the Spaniard.

But he won't live this down

I see Aston are whining now…

Maybe they think Perez needs a penalty? He had a black and white flag with 10 laps to go if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: or not. He was too far ahead, but...

There is the paint that is used at Paul Ricard. Only downside is that if someone tries an opportunistic lunge on the inside, you may end up forcing the other driver onto that and they get penalised with tyre damage
