Overall a much better F1 weekend than the last few we have had. The sprint system is growing on me and it makes the weekend a lot more interesting.

Oscar looks really good. He is really composed for such a young man, I think he will be one of the top guys in a few years time for sure.

I think Danny Ric did well enough and almost bagged a few points in the Sprint race. That Alpha Tauri is terrible, not much more he could have done on race day tbh.

Max is phenomenal, and I it just shows how good he is by beating his team mate by 20 seconds. Yes people complain it is boring, but man you have to appreciate the level that guy is on at the moment.

I hope we have other drivers on the podium after the spring holidays

Wasn't it Alpine's complaint that they have a shìt engine so everyone else must also?
Might be hey...in other words drag everyone else down to their level. "Great" for the sport.

This one, both right wheels on wet paint causing him to oversteer and run wide into Perez, requiring the correction in your picView attachment 1564856
So post a vid then, not another cherrypicked still.

They were BOTH in the middle of the track when they touched. There was no snap until they touched. This had nothing to do with Perez squeezing Hamilton onto the paint.

He is right. By the time loadshedding hit us at 4 pm I didn't even bother to switch on my power trolley to watch the race to the end. Yes, Verstappen is a great racer but put LeClerc/ Piastri/Norris/Alonso/Russel/ Ham. in the same car and I'm sure you will get the same result.

Bwahahahaha
It's an ominous sign.

All you fairweather supporters get ready for the Norris and McLaren show! It's coming!

It's an amazing talent he's just managed to hone in recent years.
And nobody acknowledges Adrian Newey.
I think the reverence for Adrian is across the grid hey - he is one of those that you don't need to acknowledge because we all know without a shadow of doubt he is a genius - all other designers are and have been trying to catch up. And he has done it across multiple years, constructors and rule-sets

Indeed. He's one of the few true aerodynamicists left. Now that it's more important to have aero working for you, hopefully it's going to pick up again.
John Barnard, Gordon Murray, Pat Symonds, Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn, Colin Chapman... all responsible for world championships. Would love to add up the numbers.

Here's an interesting bit of information...

If Adrian Newey were a constructor, he would be the second-most successful after Ferrari in Formula 1’s history.
Not bad for a guy who was fired from his second F1 gig.
How many know he's designed Indy cars and worked for Andretti among others.
