Not quite sure what you are trying to say here?

From the horse's mouth - I want to do something else other than F1 and I want to do it while still in my prime. There is no guarantee he stays in F1 deep in to his 30s, regardless of how successful he is. He isn't chasing records, he's largely achieved what he set out to achieve, be a world champion.

Article from April this year, where he emphasises his position again;

“No. I’m not interested in winning seven or eight titles. If you have the car to do so, then great. But even if it doesn’t [happen], I’m happy – I’m already happy, so it’s OK!”

“It’s difficult to say when you’ve never had a break, right? I will always be on the grid until the end of 2028,” he said in response. “I’m still very young, but I always said that I also want to do other kinds of competitions, a bit like what Fernando did.

“But also, when you have been, let’s say, winning a lot, or at least driving at the front, it needs to be also worth it to come back. Because, if you then come back and you don’t really have a chance of winning, it’s probably even harder to motivate yourself day in, day out, to travel all over the world and not spend time with family, friends and doing other things.”

Verstappen continued: “I think every person is a bit different. It also depends a bit what you want out of your life. Some people just love racing and that’s the only thing they know or want to do. I’m probably a bit more in the middle. I do love racing but I also want to do other kinds of racing.”

He will be 31 in 2028 at the end of his current contract. At that stage he will have completed 13 years in F1. Doubt he'll be leaving sooner than that unless he continues his run and they offer him a truck of gold.

I never said he would leave before then. The discussion from the start was that Max may not retire from racing as an F1 driver but will leave the sport for a new challenge while still in his prime, which he has repeatedly mentioned.

And 31 is still prime racing age. At 31, Michael was ''only'' a double world champion and Lewis was ''only'' a triple world champion. Max would be willing to consider a fresh challenge at the same age while still at the peak of his abilities.

I don't think any F1 driver has retired from racing after leaving F1. As for doing what Kimi and Alonso did - they had 8 yr and 15 year initial stints. Essentially you're arguing that Max will do what every other F1 driver will do. What's the point you're making?

AccuWeather, which I tend to prefer, are predicting 3% chance of rain in the afternoon with only 26% cloud Cover.

I guess (pun intended) that weather prediction is about as accurate as playing Roulette.

He is a big fan of endurance/GT3 racing for its competitiveness, which he races often via iRacing (racing simulator), and he is looking to launch an actual GT3 team for real-world competition. He has also mentioned racing at Le Mans.

There is a good chance that he does what Kimi and Fernando done, leave the sport after a few years, try out other forms of racing, and then decide whether he wants to return to F1.

I think he's still keen on breaking records as long as he can, but I agree with him. Too many circuits suck the life out of the drivers, teams and sport.

Norwegian met office are normally very accurate. This is their forecast
