Speedster is a bias fool, he'd probably rate Strulovich over Sir Ham.
 
Controversial opinion. Ferrari is where you go to kill your career. when is the last time someone left Ferrari, continued racing and actually won a title? late 80's with the Prost, Senna, Mansell era of changing drivers every year between the top 3 teams of Williams, McLaren and Ferrari? and even with that I am not even sure it actually happened?

also true but less history to go off. I feel like there is a decade of champions at Ferrari that never did anything else after Ferrari before Redbull even existed.
I am sure someone can look it up and say who the last person is that won a championship with Ferrari and then went on to be a champion with someone else

Probably Lauda
 
yeah Lauda did race with Ferrari in 1975 and 1977 and won again with Mclaren in 1984.
and it does look like that was the last time.
Though looking though the history there are not many people who win a championship with one team and then again with another team.

Trying to think who has.
Of the current grid I can think of Hamilton only. Did Alonso? Can't recall. Everyone else is basically too young, they came up in the Vettel/Hamilton/Verstappen era.

Looks like only Fangio before that in '57. Racing for Masserati?

IMO it's because Ferrari is the team that almost every driver aspires to race for, just to etch their name in history. Because it's the team that's always going to be around. Once they've done it, they consider their achievement accomplished and start slacking a bit.

Similar to how Monaco is the track that most of them would pick first to stay on the calendar, even though it's not very good by modern standards...
