From the driver's perspective I guess I can see ho he might think it was George, but upon seeing the replay I doubt there'll be any doubt.

Apparently it was based on study of the tryes after usage. Who knows though, it's quite strange.

Discovered after Friday's practice. The new kerbs, and length of time drivers spend on them, are causing the tires to break up internally.

Lewis probably gambled on Russell backing out or being more aware since he was side by side moments earlier. Lewis’s rear wheel to Russell’s front wheel - racing incident imho.
