He pitted first, think he came in too soon in the first stint. So he couldn't take the hards as deep as Hamilton, which allowed Hamilton to go on mediums for the final stint. If they put mediums for Lando for the final stint, it probably wouldn't have lasted the race. They made the mistake in the first stint...

Looks like he is in with a big shot of eventually replacing Checo at Red Bull. After what happened with Rosberg and Lewis at Merc, I doubt any team would take the risk of having two Championship winning quality drivers in the same team.

Yuki fits the bill. Seems like he can get points regularly in a good car and perhaps win a race every now and then but probably won't challenge for the title.
 
I really enjoyed the race, was hoping that Norris would get his first win, but alas next year maybe.

The DQ of LH and Leclerc is stupid and I really feel for LH on this one. He deserves that 2nd spot today and who knows, 2 laps more he would have been on Max's arse.

But Maxie boy, damn I really hope one day people will look back at him and also appreciate his brilliance. His k@king out GP every time when he is in the braking zone.. just pure comedy gold.

His dq was for the team running the car too low.
Ride height has a significant effect on downforce, so it wasn't just a technicality. Artificial performance.

I'd be interested to know if all cars were inspected for the same plank wear of it was random selection. If random, two different teams with the same anomaly should've necessitated a broader inspection. If all cars were inspected well that's a valid DQ.

I see that now on the scrutineering document. The teams will have to do a better job at pre-race inspection. Since both Ferrari and Mercedes had wear in the same location their explanation seems reasonable but still a contravention regardless.
