Its not that difficult. I you give the pinky somebody will grab the whole hand.
There all people with all kinds of believes, religions, political views etc. Why would one of the biggest sport in the world go out to possibly alienate some fans?
We are here for racing and not whatever cause some drivers may want to support. Some causes might be legit, but it will open the door for any other ridiculous or controversial causes.

There was this thing called the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that was passed as a resolution in the UN, not a single country voted against the adoption so that might be a good starting point? No?

I do find it amusing how they have an F1 races at some of the countries that didn't vote in favour of it.

Great starting point. But it doesn't say anything about BLM, LGBTI, abortion, mandated vaccines, etc etc, so not very useful in this context.

Here we go with nutter views on abortion and vaccines...

Lol. Which view is the nutter one? And that's the whole point, what seems reasonable to me might be crazy to you and vice versa. Who decides which are the "right" views that drivers can promote?

The ones in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, just for a start.

Have you read them? Why do you have issues with drivers showing solidarity with those rights?

I don't, but that would rule out BLM (as an example). The Universal Declaration says the "family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State" while BLM wants to "disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure."

If a driver held a similar vaccine view to Djokovic would he be allowed to air this view? What is there was a pro-Russian driver? Or anyone who held a view contrary to what is mainstream?

Article 3
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and the security of person.

Thats not F1's job, F1's job is to force VER to crash into HAM so we have something else to focus on other than the morbid reality of life.

This is turning into the worst F1 thread ever and it's not even 2023 yet. Is there no real F1 news?
