p.s. I have not become a max fan, just credit where credit is due. :sneaky: I was routing for Alonso and Leclerc all day.

Ask drivers what race they would want to win if they can only win one, and almost all will say Monaco.
So a few DTS fans from SA’s opinion does not really matter that its boring. Qualifying was absolutely great

Well, aren't you a happy little chipmunk then?

As a race, Monaco sucks. As a weekend, it's won at the qualifiers

I know it's unrelated, but a guy named Stingray Robb just crashed out of the Indy 500.

No, I'm not joking, and yes, it's his real name

Why am I imagining a mullet?
So was I, but I googled...

Looks pretty normal for a driver named Stingray.

Qualifying in Monaco is the only thing carrying the race weekend and this time it's only really been the last sector by Max. Had he not gotten pole with that ridiculous time he made up nobody would've been this "excited" about it.

The last exciting thing before this to happen there was probably Ricciardo winning with a stuck gearbox (RBR still?).

It's there because of tradition and because it's hyped up as the "jewel" of F1.

Just like European monarchies it's a fact of life, great for tourism and culture, but pretty ****ing useless in practice.

Miami should employ whoever it was that painted that marina, the water is far more realistic, you could almost imagine that the yachts were floating.
That marina looks great. Miami should employ whoever it was that painted this one.
The track may act as a car park but it certainly doesn't look like one.
Didn't get enough likes the first time you made the joke?

Nothing really changed my mind about Monaco this weekend. It was better than I expected but that was largely due to Max's insane slingshot off the barrier last lap to take pole and then the last 15-20 laps when chaos ensued with the rain. Overall, fun watch, but still a crappy race track. Very happy for Alonso (he is so close to getting that win) and Ocon, who was so happy with his podium that I think everybody could feel the emotion through the screen.

Side note on Perez, this dude just looked horrible all weekend. I can't see him challenge Max at all from here on out.

Qualifying was brilliant but was hoping for a Alonso/ Le Clerc pole. Race was pretty dull, apart from the few laps when rain fell and the drivers were battling to keep the cars on the road. Good drive by Max to win and happy for Alonso and Ocon. Had some classic radio comms during the race.
