Imagine being this hung up over something like a wooden plank under a car?
Imagine feeling the need to reply to someone hung up over a wooden plank. You may be catching up to me.

I only have a problem with it, because surely, if we could invent prattley putty and send it to the ****ing moon, we could come up with something better than a wooden plank at the apex of motorsport, right?

What would be a better solution? It is simple and effective. Curious what your suggestions would be as to how to improve it.

Like I'm a ****ing aerospace engineer. Ask someone with a degree in engineering at least. I just think it's laughable that in this day and age the best and brightest have this as a solution.

Like I said, when I buy a wooden car or they use this cutting edge (no pun) tech in LMP, I'll take this F1 thing seriously.

F1 cars race on the ground so we do not need aerospace engineers. In the same way a baker wouldn't help here.

It's race weekend, and you're being fck off annoying. Stop spamming the thread with garbage.

Why has Lando used so many exhausts?

What is sub-optimal about using some wood-composite for the skid-block? Have you considered that the engineers have determined that it is exactly right for the task at hand?
Fair enough. It seems like it was dictated by the F1 people, not the car designers, but I'll accept that. It seems antiquated though.
