Nah. Apart from some tussles between the midfield there wasn't much to get excited about. I've watched hundreds of GP and this will go down as just another one without anything special to remember it by. My point is that not every GP is edge of the seat stuff.

I personally took more joy out of last weekend than this one.

What do you call it if you get pole, win and fastest lap?

He is in another class to any other driver out there. It doesn't exactly make for thrilling viewing, but it is a supreme display of sporting domination.

I personally took more joy out of last weekend than this one.

Last weekend was incredibly dull until the rain arrived, which is when it got good.

This one had interesting things happening throughout - midfield battles, pit stop strategies between the various teams, the mercs on a charge, Ferrari looking for parking...

I found it a more interesting race on the whole, though I agree - no spectacular moments.

Sort of simmered along, without ever hitting a boil.

One must ask if the RB is really that much faster or is it just Max thats in a league of his own.

Who is questioning that Max is an exceptional talent? Who are these people saying it's just the car? Show them.

You've got to give it to the team though. There seems to be some improvement and they got the two prisses on the podium. I for one prefer the races to be closer and for the teams to match up and make the season a bit more competitive, so good for the season all round.

Considering Perez before and now with RB there's no doubt the car is a rocketship. As always though it's a combination of driver and machine.

Merc have clearly lifted their game but, at the same time, Aston Martin and Ferrari seem to have lost pace. I'm glad for Merc but a little confused by the other two.

Yes. If anything, I'd have liked to see Alonso on the podium. Ferrari is an absolute dog show. They have two better than average drivers, but they're nowhere.

Well they had a new floor and sidepods, so a bit difficult to properly test and setup correctly. This was especially evident for Le Clerc. He did not have the upgrades in practice 1. Then basically only tested them in practice 2 as practice 3 was mostly wet and slippery.
