As a Merc fan and Lewis supporter, can we all just agree that 2021 happened and whatever you opinion, nothing is going to change the result so we can now just move on?

We have a pretty good season of racing this year, let's focus on that.

Anyone feel like Lawson is making a pretty strong case for the AT seat? DR didn't really impress on his return and Lawson is doing a pretty damn good job.
Are you kidding me, this thread is for fun. If you're not having fun, don't hang around.

How many do you recall watching?
TL;DR

1. 3 drivers set the exact times for quali
2. A lap record is broken by a driver going through the pits
3. Quali chaos as only two in the field make the checquered flag to take their second flying lap
4. Creative communication using the camera when radio breaks down
5. Tyre drama on the last lap with the winner finishing on 3 tyres
6. Farcical finishes after team orders
7. Restart after red flag with one car on the grid
8. Oceans 11 stunt and the missing diamond at Monaco
9. Race is won in the pits
10. Exploding front suspension

Lando, Russel, Hamilton, Sainz, LeClerc, Sergent fans rejoice, the FIA is working out how to flatten the RB advantage just like they did with Merc (and Ferrari, RB before).
With tinfoil hat on I suspect they're going to give Ferrari (or maybe Macca?) some inside info on new regs well in advance of the next update... maybe even get Williams and Aston something...

"Stefano Domenicali is rightly trying to pivot and say, 'Come watch this historic event, you've never seen success like this, you don't want to miss it.' We'll see if that works."
"The reality is, we have a very attractive competitive product, other than the fact that Max is that fast," said Maffei. "Short of breaking his leg, a la Tonya Harding, I'm not sure what we can do about that!

...
Breaking a leg has worked in the recent past, ask Schumi.

They can give them new budgets, cars, drivers. Not going to make a difference.

Just regulations... and maybe slip a head start on the regs to their chosen successor.
It happened after Ferrari dominance, RB dominance (Vettel) and Merc dominance in the past... well maybe not the head start, though I've heard some arguments about that angle.
Take the car away and Verstappen goes the way of Vettel.

Personal opinion counts for nothing.

Is that your personal opinion?

Koolaid84 walks into a bar, puts his hat down and sits on a stool. Before he can open his mouth to order, the barman's dog jumps into the counter and rips his hat to shreds. Shocked, he stands up and berates the barman for his ill-disciplined dog, "he doesn't belong in a bar, the pooch needs to be disciplined and taught a lesson!"... to which the barman replies...
"Is that your hat it chewed?"

You could classify the whole Ferrari team in the same vein

?
You may want to think long and hard about this one. We've had hundreds of similar comments in these here threads, just not pertaining to Formula 1.

Yeah, because the management of an f1 team carries the same weight as a random nobody on a forum. Not surprising that the rbr fans would defend this kind of behaviour.

Oh ****! Did they? That's despicable. The bastards!

Soooo, want to have a look at all our own comments the last couple of years?

Obviously you won't see an issue with bigotry.
Read for meaning. I see the issue. However, I have a problem with it being brought up as a win from a partisan, point scoring view point, when the person bringing it up is equally guilty of the same thing. It's not the win you think it is.

And don't pull the "It's not me, it's only the guys around me!" thing. Have the integrity to own up.

If you don't get it, I can spell it out for you, but that would be an insult to your intelligence.
