Did I miss the podium? Like you know, when they lift the trophies? Or do we not do that anymore

The garishness of the Americans really detracts from the race. No matter Max made the remarks he did after the opening. Europeans tend to be much more understated.

It was quite an underwhelming fountain show tbh
I think race would have been better during the day in terms of best views of vegas. It was just dark now and could have been anywhere else in the world and no one would have noticed.

Minimum should’ve been give the place back and then 5s for not doing so in the first place. Setting a terrible precedent here.

The rules are always different when Ferrari are involved, the Stewards don't like them ;) :D

Seriously though I think they are under pressure from FoM and DTS to keep the intrigue alive rather than resolve the issues. :cautious:

Max pushed Charles off the track and left the track himself in doing so? That’s an unforced twofer imho. Got off very lightly.

And when LH passed Le Clerc off the track at Texas without getting a penalty you also complained about the stewards inconsistency?
But Max 5s penalty is getting of lightly?

You struggle with understanding racing. Max wasn’t even on the track after his divebomb.

He wasn't on the track and got a 5s penalty? So what is the problem? Show us incidents where drivers got more than 5s penalties? I am not complaining about the penalty, you are complaining that the penalty was not enough. I am a Le Clerc fan and would love a bigger penalty for Max, but I at least use some common sense and is not bias.

LH also wasn't on the track when he passed Le Clerc in Texas and got no penalty. Explain that.

1. Pushing Charles off the track / not leaving enough space
2. Leaving the track and gaining an advantage
3. Not giving back the place immediately

You not answering the questions, just rambling away.
1 He got a penalty, show similar incidents that got more than 5s penalties.
2 There is no rule that says you must give back the place, in fact he would have been better off if he gave back the place instead of doing 5s penalty in pits. 1st lap/corner incidents are not always judged the same, so he had every right to first see what the stewards think. Like LH in Texas, leaving the track and gaining advantage without a penalty?

Did not age well. Race was pretty decent.
Good thing too as F1 is committed to the "Spider Pig" for 10 Years minimum contract.
But I tend to agree, despite the Kitch Gilts and Glamour and the bad organisation it turned out to be a damn good race and worth keeping on the calendar.

I think you're once again being obtuse.

1. More than one offence.

Offence 1 - He didn't leave space for his opponent forcing him off track,.
Offence 2 - He left the track after doing so thus rejoining and gaining an advantage over those who didn't leave the track or were pushed off track.
Offence 3 - He didn't return the position for either offence.

If you're arguing that Offence 1 and Offence 2 are the same incident then that would be a precedent that any race start with a tight first corner it's acceptable to voluntarily dive bomb your closest competitor and move completely off track and rejoin without losing time with no impact to the rest of the field.

2. Yes there is a rule introduced in 2022.

Please be specific on which year and lap you're referring to for LH you keep citing?
