this should be an epic weekend, old Hamilton always seems to do very well at Silverstone so hopefully he can push Lando into a hole.. metaphorically speaking! Then Oscar can do the same... then Charles can beat them all, then Max will pull a rabbit out the bag and then George will beat them all and at the last moment Kimi will come second and Lance will win

Easy prediction if you ask me

well this blew my theory! Lance less than 1% and Hamilton 3%

Quite keen to see the documentary about Cadillac when its done - the one Keanu did about Brawn wasn't half bad.

George Russell has turned down Mercedes (1+1) contract offer, as he’s seeking a longer deal for more security in the future.
Unless he has another offer elsewhere in the pipeline, he's foolish to turn it down unless he favors driving a car rather a contract being honored. End of the day his performance will keep his bum in the seat whether he has 1+1 or 5 years contractually.

Well giving George a contract for 1+1 probably means they not going to sign Max for 2026 and probably only for 2027 if the red Bull is bad.

Exclusive: Ferrari is headed for a test at Mugello with the new suspension: https://autoracer.it/esclusiva-ferrari-mugello-sospensione-posteriore-sf25/

"... The official results of the first correction to be made to the SF-25 afflicted by problems with the aeromechanical platform have arrived in Austria. The evolutionary package including the new floor designed to widen the setup window has had a positive outcome and the car has responded well to the update introduced, performing as a second force with Mercedes and Red Bull further away. “It was important to see that what we studied in the tunnel in Maranello has been seen on the track” is the official confirmation from Jerome D'Ambrosio regarding the “auxiliary” update for the SF-25 but which can be defined as preparatory for the subsequent evolutionary steps which will also include the introduction of the updated rear suspension. ...

The test will require a critical and in-depth study of the real data collected from the track. And it will be a real validation test of this new component. Only after the filming day will Ferrari make the final decision on whether and when to introduce the new suspension. The choice of the other circuit owned by Ferrari, Mugello rather than Fiorano, is clearly strategic, since compared to the traditional activity, the Tuscan track offers technical characteristics more representative of a race circuit , with high lateral energy corners (such as Arrabbiata 1 and 2) and altimetric variations that stress the car's platform in a more realistic way. These conditions will allow the team to obtain more useful data for the mechanical calibration of the new suspension scheme, data that would not be as significant at Fiorano. This change, as Team Principal Frederic Vasseur made clear, if all goes according to plan, should help the SF-25 to keep the rear end movements under control , thus ensuring a more stable aeromechanical platform and a wider operating window, which has been one of the big limitations of this start of the season. ..."
